Amboseli is one Kenya’s most popular parks where you can experience swampy plains of the park and unforgettable wildlife safari. Wake up to the sounds of the bush and spend the day exploring the national park with us! Experience magical nights in the wild plains, and enjoy a panorama of Mount Kilimanjaro at dawn. Don’t wait too long and join us for this adventure!

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Depart in the morning and drive towards the Kenya/Tanzania border, through the border post of Namanga, en route to Amboseli National Park, arriving at your safari lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you are taken on an afternoon game drive to look for elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, cheetah and a host of plains game. Part of Amboseli Park is composed of a dried-up lake bed which, in the shimmering heat, produces fascinating mirages. The lake bed is subject to sporadic floods but permanent watering places for the game are provided by swamps and springs, fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro’s melting snow. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge/camp.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

Full day is spent in Amboseli with the chance of capturing that magical picture of elephant with the backdrop of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro behind!

Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi

We recommend and early morning game drive, departing the camp at 6.30 am returning to the camp for late breakfast. After breakfast at the Lodge, commence you safari to Nairobi at approximately 1000hrs. You will be dropped at your Nairobi residence or Airport.

Amboseli National Park

The Amboseli National Park belongs to the elite of Kenya’s national parks. It’s greatly known for its accessibility to the hundreds of big-tusked elephants and closely bordered against, Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m). With clear weather (usually at dawn and/or dusk), you will be awed by the stunning views of Africa’s highest peak.

The park is also home to an abundance of wildlife, apart from the guaranteed elephant sightings, you’ll also see wildebeest and zebras, with a reasonable chance to catch some lions and hyenas. The park is also home to over 370 bird species.
