The Amboseli National Park belongs to the elite of Kenya’s national parks. It’s greatly known for its accessibility to the hundreds of big-tusked elephants and closely bordered against, Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m). TRIP DETAILS

Don’t miss out on the short but action pack safari kenya to the diverse Lake Nakuru, a glimpse of Nairobi’s phenomenal geological features and truly spectacular wildlife. Guaranteed lots of fun and action, an excellent showcase of Kenya’s best highlights.

A four day adventure of Scenic drives, Nature Walks, Authentic cultural encounters and a visit to Africa’s most scenic wildlife park – Kidepo National Park. Kidepo ranks among Africa’s finest wildernesses. From Apoka, in the heart of the national park, a savanna landscape extends in all directions, far beyond the gazetted area of 1442km2, towards horizons outlined by distant mountain ranges.

The park has a semi-arid climate with just one rainy season per year (April-September) and rainfall is light. The valley of the Narus river in the south of the park receives some 890mm of rain/year while just 635mm of rain/year falls in the Kidepo valley to the north. Both rivers are seasonal, and dwindle and disappear in the dry season.

During these months, the only permanent water in the park is found in wetlands and remnant pools along the southern Narus valley near Apoka and as a result, wildlife is concentrated in this area. This consideration, combined with the valley’s open, savanna habitat, makes the park a prime game viewing location on a Uganda safari. Indeed it is possible to sight a good variety of wildlife simply by scanning the valley with binoculars from the comfort of the Apoka lodge.

TRIP DETAILS

Don’t wait any longer and join this amazing tarangire safari! This tour will give you the unique opportunity to experience the amazing natural wonders of Tarangire. We will take you on life-changing game drives during the daytime in this breath-taking National Park.

Located just a few hours drive from the town of Arusha, Tanrangire is a popular stop for safaris travelling through the northern circuit on their way to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. But there is much the park has to offer, it extends into two game controlled areas and the wildlife are allowed to move freely throughout.

After the Serengeti, Tarangire has the greatest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania; even in the dry season wildlife is bountiful due to the Tarangire River. Large herd of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, gazelle gather and not surprisingly the big predator follow.

Tarangire is also one of the few places in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are regularly spotted. It is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, breath taking views of the Masaai Steppe and mountains to the south.

TRIP DETAILS

We will take you on an African adventure you did not even picture in your wildest dream. Spot impressive variety of bird species as well as enjoy the spectacular panorama over the Lake Manyara.

Locked in between the Rift Valley Escarpment, Lake Manyara, the village of Mto wa Mbu and several farms, the 30% land area of Lake Manyara National Park is an exceptional jewel. It is part of the expansive Maasai ecosystem and a corridor for the great migration of huge herds of mammals towards the north and the south.

Lake Manyara is highly alkaline and shallow, without any outgoing rivers. Even in the rainiest month, April, depth doesn’t reach more than 2,5 metres, almost dropping to zero in the dry season. From the top of the Rift Wall the natural Marang forest towers above you. Here you might encounter big-tusked elephants on their quest for food and water.

Flamingos dot the lake surface, joined by myriad other water birds that are best spotted at the end of the dry season. And that’s just the start. Practically all large mammals roam the grassy floodplains, as residents or migratory visitors.

TRIP DETAILS

Your 5 days/ 4 nights Uganda safari from Kampala, following the mighty River Nile from its source through to the beautiful Murchison Falls National Park, will allow you to enjoy the beauty of Uganda and commune with nature.Flanked today by the city of Jinja, the waterfall described by Speke now lies submerged beneath the Owen Falls Dam, Uganda’s main source of hydro-electric power.

Still, a visit to the source of the Nile remains a moving and wondrous experience, no less so to those who have seen the same river as it flows past the ancient Egyptian temples of Luxor some 6,000 km downstream. The source of the Nile, alluded to hazily in the ancient writings of Ptolemy, stood as one of the great geographical mysteries of the Victorian Age.Closer to home, the Nile downriver from Jinja offers some superb white water rafting and game fishing. Its crowning glory, however, is Murchison Falls, where the world’s longest river funnels through a narrow fissure in the Rift Escarpment to erupt out of the other side in a crashing 43 metres plume of white water.

The river below the falls is no less spectacular in its own way, with its profuse birdlife, thousands of hippos, and outsized, gape-mouthed crocodiles.Your Uganda Safari includes the Murchison Falls National Park. It lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley, where the bulky Bunyoro escarpment merges into the vast plains of Acholi land. One of Uganda’s oldest conservation areas, it was initially gazetted as a game reserve in 1926 to protect a savanna that Winston Churchill described in 1907 as ‘Kew Gardens and the zoo combined on an unlimited scale’.

The park is bisected by the Victoria Nile which first races down 80km of white-water rapids before plunging 40m over the remnant rift valley wall at Murchison Falls, the centre piece of the park. The Falls drains the last of the river’s energy, transforming it into a broad, placid stream that flows quietly across the rift valley floor for 55km to Lake Albert. This stretch of river provides one of Uganda’s most memorable wildlife spectacles on a Uganda safari. Regular visitors include elephant, giraffe and buffalo while hippopotamus and Nile crocodile are permanent residents.

TRIP DETAILS

Climb the Kilimanarjo with us! Marangu is a term derived from the native Chagga language and the direct translation is “full of water”. This description corresponds with the luscious, green pastures and beautiful landscapes accordingly. The Marangu Route is highly frequented and it is the oldest route travelled. The Marangu route is said to be the easiest way to the summit – it ascends gradually which allows for a generally effortless trek. It is the only route that approaches the Kilimanjaro from the southeast.

To Climb the Kilimanjaro will offer you a breath-taking and once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The required time needed to complete the hike is 5 days experts recommend a 6th day for extra acclimatisation on the mountain. The accommodation sets this route apart from the others as there are dormitory style sleeping huts. Your own sleeping bag is required but the huts have relatively comfy mattresses and bunks. The Mandara and Kibo Huts can each accommodate 60 people and the Horombo Hut has 120 beds.

The huts have communal dining halls and you will have an opportunity to purchase soda, bottled water and beer. The huts have basic washrooms that range from installed plumbing and running water at the lower huts to ‘long drop’ toilets and buckets of water at the Kibo Hut.The 5 days Marangu Route will always be the timeless trip to Africa’s rooftop, however, the other routes tend to provide more scenic variation.
